What is BPM?

BPM is generally referred to as Business Performance Management, which is really the management of the execution of a business plan. The business plan starts at the corporate level with objectives, initiatives, risks, budgets and resources and is then cascaded down through the organisation ultimately to individuals.

One of the challenges facing managers and information consumers is the ability to quickly and accurately access all of the information which will assist them to monitor their performance and make decisions on what to do next in the context of the business plan.
